Trunk hinge sprung bars
Hi all.
Need a bit of help.
I need to remove the trunk hinges from my 1999 STS.
I have already removed the trunk lid itself but am a bit worried about undoing the hinge bolts and releasing the tension of the two steel bars that may be like torsion bars under pressure.
The workshop manual does not seem to say anything about them.
Any advice please
