I'd love to change my Gold Emblems for nice new Shiny Chrome ones. Where do I get them?? I see the hood ornament on feepay but I don't see the trunk emblems out there? But I did see a car with them in chrome. Being the hood and 2 trunk emblems in chrome. 3 all together.


Any help would be appreciated fellas.

lots of folks dig them gold plated ornaments and are willing to TRADE .. putting an add in Craigs would be a good place to start, as well as putting an add in the classified section in this site.

of course, then both owners have the job of 'removing' the ornaments w/o damage.

Thanks for the reply Stomper, I would trade but I have no problem buying new if they're available.

As far as removing, without inspecting, I'd say a heat gun would losen the 2 on the trunk. It's actually 3 because the wreath and crest are two seperate parts, then the " DeVille " emblem too.

Well I was able to buy a hood ornament, and the gentleman is going to see if he has the trunk emblems in chrome too. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!!

All emblems are still available from GM. For those into gold, there are many companies that can gold plate the new emblems. Local dealer should be able to tell you in your area does it. Factory gold does hold up better than A/M plated however.

 

Same guy I ordered the hood ornament from is now sending me the trunk chrome too.

All for under 1 hundo.

I will have some 24K gold plated stuff for sale soon.
