..still is off and on but roads are icy in places. Stopped for a coffee on way to work and a Police Constable was there too. He is Highway Patrol within the city limits and he said he had 10 accidents since coming on shift. He also said the radio traffic form the Highway Patrol outside the city had a back log and were looking for his help. We're talking almost zero ac***ulation here! Toronto, ON - Canada.

..........Here comes that "Montreal Express," "HUMBUG"....................

Sixty degrees and I got the "gutters" cleaned Thursday and this morning the ladder is frozen to the pavement.
You do realize that we blame all this cold air on you Canadians but when you have the choice of that beautifully "clear" air, even if a little "chilly," or the mild "not so" clear air from So. California I'll take this northern stuff any day.

It was a beautiful day today, good for leaf raking and anything else you migt choose to do on a clear crisp day. I did the yard work, of couse the water in the bird bath was frozen, I cut the lawn for one last time (I hope), installed the scoop inserts on my 1973 GTO hood I have been refurbishing, washed the Cadillac with those yellow rubber gloves with the fleece lining, spent the whole day outdoors, it was awesome.

Took the OCC for a ride to the beach today.

Quick dip in the ocean and had a late lunch/early dinner 2 Florida lobster tails.

Such a drag not experiencing the seasons.

hello from lake city, pa. on lake erie..... i've been out of town the past two weeks though, was told we had lake affect snow, big time.....the big wet heavy stuff. the stuff that breaks tree limbs, and closes the roads till clearded. it does alot of damage to many things..... the rain, snow, freeze is tough to drive in also.... though it lasted only two days, we hope here in n.e. pa. its not a clue of whats coming for the rest of the season..... now, dont get me wrong, a nice winter night snow when all is white, and trees are covered, with the lights, its a gleaming......thats beautiful.....
but when we get the lake affect at 2 foot in two hours, thats a little rough......those are the times i have extra corn, and apples outfor the deer...

Is there any where? Where there is no hurricanes, tornados, or wildfires and temp stay between 55 -85 degrees. Just went from summer to winter in a 6 hr period.

We had a very nice Indian Summer here in CO, took a nice ride last Sunday afternoon. As a motorcyclist I hate to see the winter come these days, as I near the 50-year mark. I don't have all that many summers left, ya know?

BUT I have to say that the Caddys are great in the snow & ice. We got snowthis week and it was glaze ice on the highway by the time I left for work. The traction control & ABS (which I hate in the Grand Cherokee) work very well. I was impressed.
