Default Very little compression

I had to replace timing chains along with having the heads worked as I bent every intake valve as the old chains jumped. After replacing chains and putting everything back together I am getting maybe 30 lbs of compression everywhere. I took the intakes back off and turned the crank and watched as the intake valves appear to be working properly and do not seem to be damaged which was my number one fear. Can I have the timing slightly off creating intake or exhaust valves to remain slightly opened too long???? Any help or troubleshooting ideas would be helpful...thanks

Default Timing chain installation on a 2006 3.6 cts

When installing the 3 chains on my 3.6l I understand the chain marks matching the various gears alignment marks. When starting the installation does the crankshaft or any one piston need to be in a certain location? I've made the installation but cannot get compression as my valves are never totally closed. Any tip would be helpful.
