Pressed PCV Valve 2010 SRX
Hello All,
Question for the far more experienced...In the long long looooong run or rebuilding and maintaining this wonderful car and engine after buying last year, the newest thing is the excessive oil in the PCV system. I have replaced the smaller elbow joint on the front part of the intake. Intake manifold seals, plugs, packs and a drastically overfilled oil change. New MAF sensor and throttle body, performed relearn sequence. Drove great for about 2 weeks and then reduced power again. Feels like it is trying to accelerate through gravel. Does great if I do the relearn process every time before I leave the driveway but that seems excessive.
I thought perhaps the metal PCV valve on the back side (drivers side) may be the problem. It, however appears to be pressed in. Any ideas?
