Default Newb buying at auction.

Greetings folks! I was surfing the web for a nice Caddy and ran into an online auction. I found an 08 CTS, clean title (rare on that site), only has 19K miles which is currently at $11K.. So far that's pretty low, but what's the max you folks would bid on something like that?

Auctions are always risky, the car you picked is a "SALVAGE" car - total loss sometime in it's life. Salvage is not always bad depends on why, however NO WARRANTY other than some recalls and emission coverage. You may not be able to get extended warranty, and may effect insurance coverage. Do your homework before bidding. Car will never be worth what a non salvage car is ...in same condition, and could be difficult to trade/sell later.
