I just purchased my third cadillac; a 2008 STS V6. It is a Certified Pre-Owned (titled to GM) so it comes with a 6yr, 100K bumber to bumber waranty. Only 8K miles.I got it for about 11K under MSRP and 2.9% financing. So far, a sweet running car. I am about to takemy first road trip in it. My other cadillac is a 1992 STS which I purchased used in 1999 with 55K. I love the car, and it still runs well. The dealer would only give me $750 as trade so I kept it. Hope to share and get some good tips & ideas from this site.

 

Welcome to the site and congrats on your new sts. We have a number of sts fans here. Your '92 is worth more in parts then the 750 they offered you, good idea to keep it. You have a great warranty also, so other then preventative maint, which you can find out a lot about in our FAQ section, seems you won't have too much to worry about. Good luck with her.
