Ithought I would stop in and say HI. I searched around for Cadillac forums and this looks to be the one with the most action. I'm a hardcore car nut and performance junkie.I currently have a pair of Nissans for my daily driver Maxima (a32) and track car 300ZX (z32) . We picked up a 2005 SRX to replace my wifes 2004 SAAB 9-3 lease, the SAAB was fun and sporty but a little small for the family car. I'm a regular on the Maxima and Z forums and hopeI can help out my fellow SRX owners as I start sucking up all the info I can on the SRX. So far I really like the SRX, performance better isthan I expected from the V6. I think step one will be a better tires (performance summer tires with out the staggered stock sizes.... I can't figure what they were doing with that, unless they just wanted to cause terminal understeer) I doubt I'll do much other than normal wear and tear parts for a while. My wife hates when I mod her cars and it's a CPO Cadillac so it has the 6yr/100k warranty.I need to puta few thousand miles on it to figure out what it needs and what I can get away with...lol. (well it needs a LS2/T56 and CTS-V brakes... think the wife would notice, 6spd might give it away)
