New Member 98 Eldorado ETC
Hello all,
Cad guy back after a few years. Had a 79 Fleetwood Brougham De Elegance that i loved and drove for about 10 years. Then off to minivans and SUV's to haul the kids around. They're gone and I felt it was time to get back to the great ride.
Just acquired a 98 Elorado ETC. 68k great shape inside and out. A few issues have developed and I am hoping for the experienced insight of the veterans on this board.
Service Stability System comes up when it feels like the front brake/ ABS fires for about 5 seconds then releases. Generally happens when I first take off or on occasion apply the brakes.
Using oil at about 1qt per 1500 miles.
Interior lights come on after I've closed the doors, not when I open them.
Drivers window sometimes does not want to roll back up, always goes down.
I pulled the codes as suggested in another thread and was more than a little concerned with the number of codes that came up. I am fully prepared to get whatever needs doing done, just don't want to get hosed by a dealer service manager if I can help it. So, below are the codes and if someone could decrypt them for me I'd be very appreciative. Recommendations on what, how and where to get work done would be great.

that is a mouthful.
go to the FAQ section read up on WOT and see if after that the oil consumption improves. could be the rings are stuck, that being awful low mileage and probably babied wayyyyy too much. cant see anything being wrong beyond that.
windows .. sounds like motor is on its way out.
stability system ..
if you take off like a bat out of hell, that be norrmal.
if you like to stop on a dime, that be normal.
codes .. clear them all .. then see what returns and make a note of history vs. current.
