Hi everyone. I have owned my 95 STS for a year and driven it nearly 15K in that time. It currently has 107,000 miles and is in prime shape. What a great ride. No complaints at all except I wish the headrest on this model were adjustable upward. Other than that I am so happy with the power and luxury. I am 33 and some people think I am too young for the caddy, HA! What should I drive some saturn or grand am? I love this ride.
Any way just wanted to introduce myself

Also, I used to change my own oil on all my other cars, but I cant even tell you where the filter is on this ride. I assume it is under the car. Anyway, my local shop just wanted 40 bucks to do the change. I full 10 dollars more than the last time I was in. Therefore I am going back into the oil change business. Can anyone give me some advice on how do accomplish this easy task? Wrench type, difficulties?

i believe, but i am not certain, that your engine takes a filter similar to the V8 auroras. if i am correct, if you look on the left rear of your oil pan, there should be a filter sized item that almost resembles a gear, and it will be slightly recessed into the oil pan...you have to screw that out, and your filter is actually inside that. make sure to drain the oil first, as not doing so will make one hell of a mess. let me know if this is the proper setup.
