I recently bought a 2005 CTS-V. I love it! Hate the gas mileage, but I love the car.

Welcome, Just remember that most Hi-Po cars don't get MPGs. Horsepower requires/burns fuel by the pound.

Depends on how you drive it. With a 6 speed tranny you should be getting 19-21 mpg city/hwy driving. At 70 mph you should be turning well under 2000 rpm. Probably hard to stay off the pedal with 400 hp and a 4.6 0-60 time. What mpg do you think you are getting?

Welcome to the site, and congrats on the CTS-V.

You might want to find a good tuner and have your car tuned. I just recently tuned a '04 CTS-V with some very good results. The car picked up around 30rwhp and best of all his gas milage increased. So find you a tuner in your area and have it tuned you wont regret it.
