Default Howdy All

Hello everyone, the name is Lucien. I used to have an account here, but I guess it got deleted for inactivity. I'm a mechanic, specializing in performance work.

I currently own a 1992 Sedan DeVille, which has taken down 14 Mustang GT's to count, and once my fiance and car are down in FL with me, I'll be going for a full overhaul of the engine.

I live in Panama City Beach now, so if anyone's local, let me know!

The new layout isn't bad, overall. Took me a few minutes to get my bearings though.

THe overhaul is more like a complete refit, I've decided to drop the 4.9L and go for a new 323 5.3L, stroke it to a 370, supercharge, and mate it to a getrag AWD six speed racing tranny.

My goal is going to be 800WHP at all four tires. Probably going to have to extend the frame some and rebalance the car, upgrade to a McPhearson suspension system, reinforce the frame and body to handle the upgraded torsional loads, etc etc.

Basically, I'm sick in the head.

Thanks for the welcome.....and I've found something out, thanks to my grandfather, I've gotta sink an easy 2k into the engine now to get it where I had it.

Leaving three bolts out of the timing cover where they seal the water pump does AMAZING amounts of damage.
