Default Howdy! I'm just another new guy...

Just registered today. I recently bought a 1995 Cadillac SLS--pearl white, gray leather etc. It has lots of miles (167,000)but it's a beautiful car andruns like a top. However, I understand that it's an old car and will undoubtedly need maintenance, sooner or later (I hope later),so I'll lurk and put in my $.02 whenever. I just sold a 1987 Buick Turbo Regal that I'd had and wrenched on for 11 years. It was getting pretty fast (high 11's), but, as a consequence, stuff was breaking all the time. After 5 transmissions,6 torque convertors, 1new engine and lots of other stuff I finally gave up.I just want something nice that I can drive. I've always loved the Seville body style, so I got one. Not my first Cadillac--Igota 1970 Coupe de Ville in 1983.... It waswhite too.
BTW, I already flushed the cooling system and put fresh anti-freeze and distilled water in with the GM Coolant System Treatment pellets. I don't want to do a headgasket job....
