hello from central Kansas!
hello! I'm jeff, from Abilene Kansas
today I just picked up a 1970 Sedan DeVille 4 door hardtop, with 56k original miles. was stored in a shed for 20 years, it has the 472 engine. needs a bit of TLC, but I'm gonna have fun with restoring it to my specs. here is a pic of my cruise mobile

last year I pulled down a car that was stored in a garage since 1986. moisture has a way of getting into all the fluids and rubber simply crumbles.
flush and change all fluids, INCLUDING BRAKE FLUID, and filters, INCLUDING FUEL FILTER.
change out rubber brake lines & tires.
Everything else after that, is a choice.
The car, going by the pics, look pretty darn nice as is.

thanks for the welcome!
I did a look over of it today, and it apparently had some stuff done to it just after bringing it out of storage, as the tires are new, it has new plugs, air filter was replaced, and has had an oil change. carb appears to have had a rebuild. I did notice an orange wire (might be a fuse link?) that goes to the alternator battery feed terminal, was hanging there by 1 wire strand, the ground cable has a spot where the insulation is melted away, and the dist cap is the original. and the plug wires could use replacing. so, things don't look as bad as I thought, with some minor items, she will be good to go!
