Finally own a Caddy
Hi there. My name is Kenny and I've wanted a Northstar Seville since the first time my boss let me drive his 1998 STS when I was still in high school. I understand they're an oil consuming, code throwing electrical nightmare but I still love 'em.
I recently purchased a sterling silver 2001 Seville SLS with 73,xxx miles for $4500. Interior is in excellent shape and the body looks great too. Two door dings and a crack in the rear bumper cover is all I've found so far. The SES light is on and diagnostics show P1860 and P0741 active. I'm sure after a few minutes on this forum I'll figure out what those mean and how to fix them.
Anyway, I'm new to this forum but a veteran to automotive forums of all sorts..... LS1, imports, off-road, muscle cars, Subaru, Acura, etc. I hope to learn as much as I can about my car and any other Cadillacs of interest as well as meet fellow enthusiasts. I'm not here for any E-drama and refuse to feed the trolls.
