dashboard lights always on

Default dashboard lights always on
96 DeVille dash lights stay on. Check engine, brakes...all the lights. How do I turn them off?

ted.... i would start by disconnecting the negitive (-) battery cable from the battery. wait for 10 to 20 min and reconnect.... let us know
