My 07 Escalade ESV is going crazy like many of the GM trucks. I desperately need help. All my warning lights go on like a Christmas tree, abs, stabilitrac, check engine, the speedometer and other gauges bounce up and down, the truck shifts out of gear even though it is still in drive. This all is very dangerous.
I refuse to get ripped off by the dealer. Dozens of posts say that after spending thousands of dollars fixing all sorts of supposed necessary items the problems still exist.
I hear that the entire problem is related to a short in one electrical harness. Can anyone direct me to the exact one or other ideas to clear up the mess. This usually happens when I hit a pot hole or speed bump even at a low rate of speed.
I have already pulled out the fuse for the windshield heater. I have never checked the ground to that line because all the harnesses are covered with plastic. The cruise has never worked. Help Mike
