Default Big Cadillac fan new to this forum

Hi Gang, I'm new to this forum but not to Cadillacs, I have been a Cadillac fanatic for a few decades. My first car was a Cadillac in 1982 ( a 78 eldorado ) and I have owned several since, usually several years old, and usually more then one at a time. I have owned pretty much , one generation of every body style Cadillac made between 1962 and 1990 . I have studied these cars since I was 10 ( I'm 40 now) and have tons of "automobilia" for them as well ( ads, service manuals, owners manuals, factory 8 tracks and cassettes etc) I do most of my own work on my cars. i also tend to collect other American Luxury cars as well, and have had a few Lincolns, and Chryslers over the years as well. My current stable of vehicles consists of an 86 Brougham D'Elegance, 88 Allante, 89Mark LSC , 90 Imperial, and a 98 BMW740iL.
Although I've never met a Cadillac I didn't like, I tend to focus on 70's and 80's models. These I have the best luck with, find that they are usually inexpensive to buy and are pretty easy for the do it yourselfer to keep running and looking good.. plus they are fantasticly comfortable, and when in good shape cosmeticly, really stand out against the cookie cutter, chromeless, jelly bean cars most people see today.
So, I'm glad to be here and would love to "chat Cadillac" with anyone who'd care to email me.
Thanks, Matt
