Default air conditioner

hi^ john groce here. this is a great forum with helpful peaple. i live in east-central indiana. 63 yrs. old. i,ve got 1992 allante, red&black. owed for 2 yrs. bought on e-bay. changed compresser clutch now it won,t kick in. is there a fuse or relay?

Replaced because it was noisy? Did you remove the compressor to replace it? Have you erased all A/C codes in the BCM?

thrust plate broke loose from clutch and was flopping around. did,nt have to remove from car.

If, after codes cleared, compressor still wont engage, you might have too much of an air gap between the coil and clutch.

You can also use a jumper wire on the low pressure switch on the drier.
