Howdy Folks! New to the sight and trying to solve some problems on an 87 eldorado. I fixed the digital dash lights by finding a blown capacitor on the lower circuit board. The Climate Control/ Drivers Info Center, digital lights still wont come on. The A/C system will work when I unplug and plug in the CPS unit above the gas pedal. After about 6 starts the A/C turns off and wont come back on unless I "reset" the cps again. Anyone have a clue what I'm talking about?
Asked the dealer and they played dumb. I tried another ccdic unit and it didnt light up either at first but the second try it did for about 2 seconds then turned off and now makes the dash lights go off as soon as it gets plugged in.......HELP PLEASE...................
