For the past few days on my 2005 Deville the Traction Control and ABS light have remained on--won't go off trying to turn off key and restart. Traction control light will not go off even though I attempt to use switch on end of shift control.. I'm pretty sure my ABS is not working because today I had to use emergency braking and my tires skidded. Any ideas about this problem before I have to let mechanic look .

 

Without hooking up a scanner to get the codes you are just guessing.
