I have a 2003 CTS and I have a new battery new alternator and im still getting the check electrical system need help thanks

 

Hello im curently having trouble with my rear driver side door, it wont lock and the window wont go down, the speaker does work. Any info. or help I would really appreciate.

Its a 03 Cadillac Cts

 

2000 deville northstar engine abs code c1295 history, been to two mechanics, one replaced a bearing, no help, the other could not locate this code.

 

Hi there. This my first Caddy and my first post. I hope you can steer me in the right direction. I have searched the forum and found no answers.

I have a 1988 Sedan deVille just purchased from the original owner with 94000 miles. The car runs like a swiss watch but has no AC. It is currently unplugged at the compressor to save fuses and the O/O was told that it will require a new compressor.
Here is what its doing. I plugged the wires back into the compressor, started the car, turned on the A/C and it cooled for 2 seconds then blew the 25amp fuse for the AC (the fuel display went dark as well).

Any suggestions?

2006 CTS. Daughter turned off without being fully in park. Just got key out by pin under steering column, but will not go into gear. ALL DARK. There is good battery power. Un hooked battery, re did battery, still nothing. JERKED steering wheel, pushing HARD on brake to unlock gear shifter. Nothing.
How do I get this car back into park, turned on, without going to a dealer?? Please help...

CAR: 2006 CTS 2.8


PROBLEM: I bought a NAV radio off of Ebay and replaced my radio/CD player on my 2006 CTS.

The original radio DID NOT have NAVIGATION System.
The local dealer unlocked the Theft Code for $95.

I also bought the correct GPS antenna for this unit.

I hooked it all up and to my disappointment, the red NAV Arrow on the screen rotates when I turn the car, but the entire map DOES NOT scroll or move
ahead when I am driving down the road.

The GPS seems to pick up the satilites and positioning when I display GPS position, but the screen does not move.

Parts & Details:

>> The GM NAV Radio is stock and is date stamped December 2004
Part #25750936, Hollander # 638-01605

>> The Antenna is: ACDelco 25726417 Antenna Assembly

>> The NAV Disc in it says "Cadillac DVD Rom - Canada / US - Version 6.0Q4 02, 2002 Navigation Technologies, 25766899

Everything else works on the unit: Radio, CD, it even plays DVD Movies!

This Drives Me NUTZ !!!!

WE JUST BOUGHT A 1990 DEVILLE W 83000 ORIGINAL MILES!!!!

it has a problem where the battery drains if the car sits for a couple of days with out being used. we have been clueless to the cause. but after seeing all this info about the electrical connections, grounds and such we r not running to the shop!!!
we r gonna check for any symptoms like the radio windows and antenna!

the 90 yr old lady we bought it from is clueless to any symptoms. my boyfriend drove it to work. he said that the radio station wouldnt change even tho the display showed it did......so maybe that is a start...i would have never have guessed it could be...i just thought it was a messed up radio!

so now im excited and cant wait til he gets home so we can investigate! i called and told him all about this sight and he is excited to check u out!!!

all i can say is thank u thank u for being here!
i feel good that i found this tonight AND i replaced the guts in my own toilet today!!!

Good Afternoon, I just obtained a beautiful de elegance that has 191xxx on the dash. according to the last owner its been sitting for at least a yr and a half. I changed the oil and put gtx syn and used a tough gaurd oil filter. Also I bought a used coil pack with the coils on it and installed it myself, and now the low oil pressure light,stop engine, and oil light comes on when I brake and stop. And sadly to say that he used regular gas in it and ant really tell what brand and its making the car run irrregular, when you hit the gas it seems like its struggling, now that the engne light is on, it blinks when I hit it hard to get up to speed. Can anyone give me some tips, I would like to keep the car and put some love into it, just like I brung my le sabre back to life.

Please help! My 1998 Cadillac Deville won'tb start. It was running until I Replaced the starter and flywheel. After the installation my car would turn over, but not start. Anyone have any advice for me? Also can you tell me where to find the ground strap for this car. THANKS! ABYRD01
