Default Sunroof Vibration

Love my first Cadillac, a 2001 Eldorado but; My sunroof vibrates at about 30 mph when enough air hit it. I mean REALLY vibrates to the point of wanting to just shut it. I believe it is the inner headliner slider vibrating againts the sunroof itself.

Anyone else had this issue, and any good ideas out there?

Thanks to all.

I believe there should be a deflector that pops up when top is open. Sunroof buffering is not uncommon as speed increases regardless of manufacturer. Is it an oem sunroof? I myself would have sunroof in vent position when driving over 25-30. With no where for the air to escape stuff blows all over and may add to the buffering problem.

Thanks Slowroll. I thought about adding a fixed deflector (like you see on Volvos), but didn't consider Cadillac put a pop-up one on as original equipment. You may be right though, and I'll check it out. Could be mine is missing.

Thanks again.

Spoke with the local Cadillac parts guy the other day; No pop-up type factory wind deflector according to his parts manual. I guess I could install a fixed type of deflector, but think I'll pass given their degree of ugliness.

Thanks.
