Has anyone ever replaced the steering wheel in a 2000 DTS, i have done it before in other cars, but i have done complte columns which was easy, but I am going to swap my steering wheel out for the woodgrain steering wheel, is this complicated?

 

I dont have an answer but I do have a CAUTION.

I believe that you MUST disconnect the battery or chance deployment of the airbags.

Hopefully someone else can give you more detail.
IF it was me, I be buying a Factory Service Manual specific for your car before doing anything like that.

Lol, air bags should be used as anti-theft devices, whether you cross wire something or you crash at 30 mp/h they'll knock you out.
