Hey guys,


I do have a 95 deville with a 4.9 engine.
The last days it began to roll over very weak sometimes. Until today, it doesn't roll over at all anymore!!
I checked the fuses in the the black box in the engine compartement. They are all fine. The battery has juice !
It must be the starter !!

I am going to buy a new one to put it in.
When Ichecked this evening, it was already a little dark outside so I couldn't really see. Am I right that the starter is located in the bottom front of the engine???
Has anybody done this before ? Any difficulties?

Yea front side of the engine on the bottom. Pretty cut and dry on removal and installation. be sure you disconnect your battery before starting the repair.
