starter Problem

Unhappy starter Problem
Can someone tell how hard it is to change a starter on a northstar engine.
I know it's under the intake so do I have to have a new intake gasket or can I use a silicone seal? Do I have to disconnect the fuel rails?
Can someone give me a step to step?

not all N*'s are the same .. a $30 FSM can be of great help.
