I was wondering where the starter is located on my 1995 deville 4.9L? I am away at school right now so i havent had a chance to look.

if you pull the intake manifold, after disconnecting all the tubes, hoses and wires, you will see the Grand Canyon .. and a beer can like object at the bottom of the canyon ..

that, my friends, be the starter.

 

Thanks! I also need this info. My car starts okay and runs okay for any period of time until it was turned off all of a sudden. Once turned off the car usually will not start back up for at least 20 up to 30 minutes. Geez[:@]
