Hi Just thought I should share the scary experience I had a week ago with our 07 SRX. We were traveling down an expressway at 65-70 mph and the rear end locked up. We started to go right and came back around with a 360 in the middle of the highway. Ended up sideways in the fast lane with the rear wheels locked. No other cars hit us and we did get the car to break loose in reverse.

Car at dealer now getting a new diff. Just been looking on internet for any other happenings like this. If this had happed on a normal street with opposing traffic we likely would have been killed. Car only has 80,000 miles.

 

This is a defect in the SRX/CTS, not sure if you can get it done as a recall.
