Default Service stability system 2002 Cadillac Seville STS

Hello All,

Im Jimmy. I just purchased my first Cadillac last Friday for a great price! It's a 2002 Seville STS. When I bought it the "Service Stability System" indicator comes on. The steering needs to be aligned and it sounds like I need new brakes too. How can I find out exactly what is causing the Service Stability System message to appear?

Default Diagnostic Codes

Start by reading the diagnostic codes on the onboard dash display. With the ignition on, press and hold the driver's information buttons, Info and On, to get started. See the FAQ section to learn more.
