Default Rear right brake light.

How do I change the right rear brake bulb? I went in the trunk, remove the plastic screw nuts but the outside light assembly will not loosen up to be removed so I can change the bulb. What am I missing?

Thanks!

either there are more screws, the lens assembly has to be slid upwards and out, or the seals have become glued to the body ...

that be my guess ...

I did get the wing nuts off, I think there were 3 of them. In any case I got them all off but the unit wouldn't hardly budge. I gave up because I didn't want to break anything.

I did get the little beast off light night. The corner brake light unit was just stuck very hard in place. I had to pry around it to loosen it.
