Problems 90 Sedan DeVille
My Cadillac starts up perfectly every time. No noises or anything. It idles just fine but when i put it in drive and i hit the gas, it hesitates and the engine just cuts off. I have a new battery, alternator, hoses, and even had a tune up not too long ago. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a TPS(throttle position sensor) issue. Try unplugging the TPS and see what it does. It won't run very well like that, but if the TPS is the problem, it will run differently.
Could also be a fuel pressure issue, so you would need to verify the fuel pressure to see.
An ignition module going out could also cause this, but they usually fail mostly when hot.
Have you tried to get any codes from the system, and if so, what are they?

Sorry...I sometimes forget that people don't always know what the heck I'm talkin about.
The TPS is indeed screwed on to the side of the throttle body, which is where the carburetor would be if it wasn't fuel injected. If you remove the air cleaner housing from the center of the engine, the throttle linkage will be towards the radiator side of the throttle body. Then look on the opposite side of the throttle body, directly across from the linkage, and you'll see a small black part screwed to the body, with a 3 wire electrical connector on it. That is the TPS.
