I have a 2006 DTS. Pass side mirror goes down in reverse and sometimes comes back to original position? I have tried to just disable it on dash but it just does what it wants. Any ideas?

 

@Jason Johnson, I have read your post about your situation with your outside passenger mirror. I can understand how frustrating this can be. From your post, it seems that you have read the information on page 3-95 of the 2006 Cadillac DTS owner's manual. If this is the case and you are still experiencing this, I recommend contacting your local Cadillac dealership for further help.

Just a follow up for anybody who may had this problem... I had a passenger side mirror that had a mind of it's own. i disabled it on the dash and it still did what it wanted. Through a little trial and error I noticed it would point down when i used the seat exit mode as well. Well I disabled the seat exit and Pooff... It fixed itself and all mirror and seat functions work as they are supposed to.
