hi, im new here, i posted in a panic the other day with out introducing myself.

so, my dumb question is this...it might be crazy, but is it possible that a bad battery in my key fob could cause my car to malfunction and drain the battery?

i have seen a few comments from lurking that eluded to this, but if possible i'd like a definite answer.
