Hi, I have a real basic question. I am looking at buying a 79 coupe deville with a 424 in it and was wondering what kind of gas mileage it got. The guy selling it says it gets 18-20, does this sound correct?

that sounds about right, on the downhill side of a mountain.

 

im going to take an educated guess and say that vehicle will average in the low teens for mileage.... provided the engine is in good tune and running properly
