Lights?

Lights?
Well all, I'm back from Iraq... I got into my car to drive her on home, and I guess while I was gone she decided to break herself...
The signal flashers, Hazards, or high beams no longer work at all. Fuses are good, bulbs are all good. I have a feeling it's the unit in the steering wheel area itself but I'm hoping someone here has a better idea before I go running to get that.
I already replaced the flasher unit (After an hour of pain in the butt scavenger hunting) And like I said, checked the fuses and bulbs. Any suggestions?

RE: Lights?
welcome back to the mainland ...
what kind of car we taking about? you forgot to say.
it sounds too simple, but i say put a fresh battery on clean battery terminals/cables before you do anything else.
check engine / body grounds for white dust and wash off and spray with WD40, then retigthen connections
you left the battery hooked up, right?
how long was she parked?

RE: Lights?
Sorry bout that, it's a 1997 STS.
The car was only parked for 3 months and I had someone driving it for me every once in a while.
The lights just up and stopped working. I'll check the battery before I do anything else.

RE: Lights?
Ok if anybody wants to know, I took the car to a mechanic and he found the problem. There was a loose wire under the dash board that led to a multi-function relay that controlled multiple things, to include the high beams and hazard lights. He fixed (replaced) the wire, and they all work like a champ now.
Damn wires...
