there is a piece of intake missing on our 1990 el dorado, from the fire wall to the air cleaner, I found a couple electrical connectors that must go to something on that piece of intake, does anyone know what the sensor are?

I figure air temp and something else, right now we are trying to locate one at a wrecking yard to pick it up, I notice that the car hunts alot when first started,

i dont not know for sure, but the odds are very good that those sensors are mass air flow, and air intake temperature.

 

Jokes on me, the connectors are for the windshield washer pump and level indicator, I went to the junk yard and saw the intake is nothing more than a bellows connecting a 90 degree connector from the fire wall to the air box,

will take it out tonight,

 

wait, i thought that they went to the air intake?

 

that was my first assumption since a picee of the air cleaner intake was missing,, I could only guess where they went,, someone pulled out the windshield washer reservour and radiator overflow. Looking at the junk yard, I saw I had it all screwed up and the wires I saw hooked into the squirter and charcoal canister.
