Idle surge

On cold starts I have idle surge on my 2001 DTS. I replaced the idle air speed motor with no improvement but if I unplug the idle motor it will idle fine. After 2 or 3 minutes it runs fine .Any thoughts

Idle issue

My guess would be temp. sensor.

what exactly is happening
is it doing when coming to a stop
does it do it on start up before u drive anywhere
