Hello,

I have aquired a 1994-1997 4.6L Northstar Engine and would like to determine the model.

Here is the information that I know about it already due to the casting numbers.
Drivers Side Head #1647488 (LD8)
Pass Side Head #1647489 (L37)

From what I understand these engines have interchangeable heads and it is the cams that really determine the engine model. I have the camshaft casting numbers but cant seem to find them listed in the sorces I have checked. AITN Data Base and Prosis.

Right Ex. #1647438
Right Intake #3522428
Left Ex. #1647437
Left Intake #3522429

Any insite as to which enigne this is would help me greatly.
