Default High Rpms

I have a 93 Eldorado Touring Coupe with a 4.6L NorthStar. While highway driving(65-75mph) myrpmsare 3000-3500rpm in Overdrive and/or #3Drive.The transmission fluid level is ok, I have no service lights or codes. I bought the car used andhad it for two years now and the rpms have always been high since I've had it. Any info on this situation would greatly be appreciated. Thank You

Default RE: High Rpms

You're obviously not getting into overdrive. My '95 ETC is running around 2400-2500 rpms at those speeds.I'd say your best bet is take it to trans shop and have it checked out.
