Help Mechanic doesn't know!
I recently took my 94' deville to the mechanic. He had to replace an ignition part. It is a rod about 10"-12" that connects ignition lock cylinder. After getting the car back from the mechanic, when trying to start the car I would get absolutely nothing except a message that said starting disabled anti theft remove key and wait three minutes. I might get this once and it would start or sometimes it would take 4 or 5 times of this. i took it back to the mechanic and he said its the ignition lock cylinder. So he replaced it and now the engine cranks (unlike the starter disabled) but it won't turn over. The mechanic has now checked the fuel pressure and says no fuel pressure. According to the mechanic this means fuel pump or electrical.
Does anyone have any clue about this? Is it a coincidence that after removing the steering column/ignition cylinder, etc. that all of the starting issues happen. Or did the mechanic screw something up and doesn't know how to fix it?

What I don't understand is how it went from nothing, no sound, only a starter disabled message before replacing the ignition cylinder to the engine grinding trying to turn over but just won't after replacing ignition cylinder.
