Fix for OnStar - 2001 DeVille?
Does anyone know how to upgrade the OnStar system from analog to digital on a 2001 DeVille, according to OnStar & Cadillac, there is no fix.
Is there another system comparable that has a live operator & GPS??

That's a good question. I just got off the phone with my service department for my 2001 Deville. They guy said that that model of onstar that was fitted to the 2001 Deville is obsolete. Nothing will be compatiable to it. The whole system is done. The only type of upgrade that can be made is if a person has a 2004 deville. Then it can be upgraded from Analog to Digital. Bad news. Im looking for a car kit.Not any peice of equipment will work to sync my cell phone throught the car system. It simply will not pick up the signal. Thanks, Tina.
