friends escalade needs to be jumped to start, the battery is fine, 2004 model and alternator seems fine, anyone else have this problem??

 

check to see if you left any accesoories on in the caddy when ur car doesnt start does the horn work it could be the starter or a short check your fuses have your dealer check it if its still in warrenty

 

The PCM in the new cars are a constant battery drain, leave the car for two weeks and you will start to experience battery related problems. Have your mechanic check the ground wires closely, if they get a little oxidation on them, weird electrical problems start to appear. HTH.
