Between the seats of Eldorados and Sevilles of the 1990's is an arm rest that folds down. It has a lid, spring-hinged at the back end and cup holders inside. That spring hinge is screwed to a molded plastic shell that forms the shape of the lid and the leather upholstered top surface is also attached to this molded plastic shell. In my car that molded plastic shell has shattered where the hinge attaches. It was a rather poor design in the first place, but I need to replace that pastic part - hopefully not the whole arm rest or upholstered lid.
First, what is that part called?
Second, has anyone had experience with this repair or replacement?
And, of course, Third, is there anyone out there who has one to sell to me?
