Love my 2001 Eldorado, but need to fixt the broken steering wheel switches that came with it recently. My questions is: Can the switches be replaced by simply removing the horn trim, or does the steering wheel require removal? Here's hoping not.

Should just have to remove air bag to access switches. DO NOT HAVE KEY IN RUN MESSING WITH AIR BAGS. GM recommends to disconnect battery before servicing SIR or AIR BAG components.
