Default Disc Error

Does anyone know how to remove CD from a 6 disc CD player or how to turn it off. I parked my car, and went back out to get something out of the car and it was still trying eject. I would like to know how to get the disc out or to shut it off. Does not have nav system.

Thanks,

jim

Year and model of the car might help....

With no car info, try disconnecting battery, wait 30 sec and reconnect. It might reset radio and eject CD. A trip to the dealer may also be required. GM CD players do not do well with "burned CDs" as opposed to "store bought".

Yikes! Now you tell me. My player is loaded with "home burned" CD's and luckily I have yet to have a problem with it. Lately they "skip" a little when its very cold but play normally after the car warms up inside. (05 CTS w/nav)
