Default cold idle problem

Hi guys: Would like to know if anyone has any suggestions as to what could be causing rough idle and no power on cold starting of my 81 Fleet with 6.0 V8. After about 4-5 minutes its back to normal again. What gives. It has the digital fuel injection throttle body.

coolant temp sensor or poor ground is where I would look. The early round connector type coolant temp sensor was changed to a more reliable style in 1983.
