clean out the crankcase ? ATF .. transmission fluid
this came to me ...
I put it here for discussion .. not for recommendation
====================================
In the 80's Cadillac dealers, when the HT4100 intakes were popping left right, had the techs fill the crankcase with 25% to 50% ATF, a new cheap oil filter and then drive the car about 10 miles to clean out the crankcase .. they'd bring it back in and drain the engine and change out the filter with a new oil filter and then fill it with regular 10w30 .. It is believed that Dexron III is equivalent to a 10-20 oil
The ATF has a lot of detergent. Ford still recommends the use of that procedure after an engine repair. It will hurt nothing to use it at 25% to 50% of your total crankcase capacity. Dealers have done it hundreds of time on different makes and models.
IF there is coolant contamination -
There is no reason to change the oil more than once after coolant has entered the crankcase. Whatever trace amounts of coolant left over, after a repair and oil change, will quickly boil out after reaching operating temps.
Also, coolant being heavier than oil will be the first to drain from the pan. Let it sit for several hours prior to draining, loosen the drain plug, coolant will drip out.
