'97 Catera 64K miles
I have oil in my coolant resevoir. I use 1 quart a month. There is no water in the oil just oil in the water. I have flushed the radiator clean 3 times over 8 months. I also ran an expensive block sealer through the coolant system as well. I am quessing its an oil cooler problem.

Not sure. Any help out there? Thank you in advance.

 

just had the same problem its the oil cooler under the intake manifold

 

Would it be the inlet tube, outlet tube, or o-rings? Or just replace the whole unit. What did you do? How much did you pay for the repair?

 

I was hoping to find out some info on swapping out the oil cooler. Anybody have any suggestions on how to go about it. Thanks in advance.

 

Any techs out there with advice on how to tear into this oil cooler?

Catera has the 3.0 engine made by Opel. Oil cooler is located under the exhaust manifold on the drivers side.
