Default catera brake lights

My better half was pulled over last night in our 2000 Catera and informed it has no brake lights. I tested them today and there ARE NO brake lights. No fuse is blown, all turn and hazzards work etc. I took the connector off the BOTTOM brake pedal switch and it is hot on the hot side, jumping it straight across with a jumper does NOT light the brake lights. ALL other lights work. Looks isolated to the wire froom the switch to the back but where does it run? Is there ANY other fuse between the switch connector and the lights at the back? Not even the center light works, NO brake lights work, definately looks isolated to the one wire coming off the switch connector. Please help. THANKS.

Default RE: catera brake lights

no other fuses. Its a simple circuit, power/ switch/ load / ground.

Are you testing the right switch? Red wire(B+) Blk w/yellow wire(after the switch)?

If your tail lights work then you know the ground is good.

Also always check the bulbs.
I have seen cars with them all blown.
