I noticed a sticker under the hood of my 2K Deville.

It is a smallGM sticker, itsays "Campaign" and there are two small handwritten sections on it. I can't read what is written in those sections. I'm guessing one of the is probably a date.

Anybody have any ideas what this might be about?

I can snap a picture of it and post it if someone is interested.

I have one too on my 98 Deville. I assumed it was some sort of special production campaign that the car was made under. My car was built in January, 1998 but not put in service until August 29th. It was supplied to the dealer as a showroon model according to the build sheet data.The actual words are "For Display Purposes" that appear on the build sheet. That may give us a clue to that campaign sticker.

I've run into stuff like this before in over the road trucks when there was a engine refit campaign or some other type of modification that was part of a dealer program.

Thank you for posting that pic for me Stealth.

I had a look at it today with a magnafying lenseand it appears the campaign number is 00895 and the dealer code is J (or G) 3065.

Anyone know where to look to de-code that information.
